Caroll Michels is a career coach, artist-advocate, and author of How to Survive & Prosper as an Artist. Selling Yourself without Selling your Soul (Henry Holt & Company, New York).   A 6th revised edition was published in 2009.  Excerpts from her book are presented on this Web site.

She is also the founder of the Artist Help NetworkSM a free online resource designed to assist artists in locating information on a comprehensive range of career-related topics.

NEWS:  Caroll Michels will teach a six-week course “Career Development for the Artist,” at the Ringling College of Art and Design, in Sarasota, Florida, in conjunction with the division of Continuing Studies and Special Programs. The course will be held each Thursday, beginning October 7, 2010 thru November 11 from 6:30 - 9:00 pm. Registration can be done online and will begin August 16, 2010.
