Caroll Michels presents lively and participatory three and six-hour workshops on important issues that impact a fine artist’s career, including overcoming basic problems of launching and sustaining a career as an artist; preparing for the gallery system; exhibition and sales opportunitie outside of the gallery system; pricing artwork and related issues; developing Web site fine art portfolios; using blogs and social networking sites; grants, fellowships, and artist-in-residence programs; public relations and marketing tools; understanding and using the corporate art market; dealing with rejection — and the overwhelm factor.
